A Little Wedding Superstition For You!!

Its said that the first gift the bride opens at her bridal shower, should be the first gift she uses!! (Lets hope its not a blender)
Also, everything the bride says as she opens her gifts, will be repeated on her wedding night!! (keep it clean ladies)
The person who gave the Third gift opened will have a baby soon after!!

BUFFETS, NOT JUST DINNER ANYMORE!!

A buffet at a wedding would normally mean dinner or the main course. Not anymore!! Now there are endless types of buffets found at weddings and events. From candy buffets, coffee buffets, ice cream buffets, to cigar buffets! Buffets have become a main attraction and can be fun and entertaining for all. A 70's Theme Party

There's nothing like a theme party to get the creative juices flowing!  Theme parties can be wonderfully challenging and fun. For this 70's themed birthday party we focused on nostalgic candies with a candy buffet that was filled with candies we used to find at the local Penny Candy Store!  A "Soul Train" scrammble board, for which winning contestants received "old school" prizes such as yo yo's, jacks, and those little green army men.

There were plenty of afros, bell bottoms and platform shoes as well! and the dj provided the perfect mix of old shcool music and strobe lights!

Why the "Best Man"

As history shows, marriages were accomplished by the "capture" or kidnapping of the bride-to-be.  A warrior friend or "best man for the job" was enlisted to help accomplish the capture, fight off other men who wanted the captured woman, and to prevent the womens family from finding the couple! Now the best man is usally a close friend or relative who doesn't have to enudure any bloodshed or break federal laws!
